ACDSee or other JPEG Browser?

Hi guys,

I am trying to find a software for 9210 that allows images browsing. i.e I have lots of backgrounds and sometimes I want to browse them.

I also have photos that sometimes I want to share it with friends.

9210 preinstalled imaging is not good for this. O i do not know how to browse-it.

I mean CTRL+N for next picture kinda stuff.

Thanks

Check this. I guess this is what you're looking for. Gipviewer also reads some of the exif data if you're loading up pics from a digicam.

Hint: If you want to share a folder of pics with friends, make sure you have loaded it previously. Gipviewer creates a Cache the first time you load an album, allowing much faster loading next time you use it.

GIPviewer is a great application. It allows for thumbnails, adding comments to pics, slide-shows and browsing easily through your pics. Hotkeys like Ctrl-N, CTRL-P can be used to browse through your pics.

Guys! what about the IAlbum 😮 any comments bout this apps, Cos i think it does better. isn't it...

I was convinced about this sw, and wanted to purchase already...

Are better software available?

You were right n9k, any othe sw. for this app?

I've bought the GIP, nice small app, but what is bad for me:

1) When i watch my small (176x120) images from the casio wrist camera, they aren't centered and are shown on the left upper corner, where the screen lighting is very dark

2) If you have more than 20 images in your album be patient to wait more than a minute untill they are loaded as thumbnails. By 100 images it's 5 mins!

I liked more GIP than the IAlbum.

Any other software?

I wonder if is good to buy this software when you can see the pictures on ps 😞( sic  😉

Anyhow, I will buy but need to review more.

Other sugestions?

you are right Leo, GIP loading it quite slow rather than I Album. Moreover, in terms of usage I love both of them :P

Like I said before, this is only true when u load the images for the first time. GIP then build a cache of loaded thumbnails, and will use that cache in any subsequent instances, when it opens your pics "quite a bit" faster (say in about a quarter of the time at most).

Well, I've tried out the iAlbum this weekend and I'd say i really liked it! Althougth the trial is very restrictive I could pose the small image in the center of the screen, and I liked Explorer-like browsing thru the file system on the left side of the programm window very much.

I'm sory not have bought it two month ago instead of iGIP then!
