type *#7370# to restore the phone the the original or to format it

does this restore lost files and remove all new 1s, so as to return to perfecto workin order??

YES! It restores the phone to its original condition! Like when you first buy it! If you bought it new of course 😊

And lastly, does this remove the thumbnails

the phone back to the condition when u first time turn on the phone or in the other words all restore back and all data gone back when it comes out from the factory. also if u hav ur access pint setting installed on ur phone when u bought it try to write it down somewhere cos it will be gone too.

Yes I tried it, but I am not sure about thumbnails! However, since the thumbnails are stored in one file contacts.db, when backing up the phone, the thumbnails are store in the backup as well! I am not 100% sure though ut a good 98% 😊

EDITED: It removes thoumbnails aswell but you can back them up!

im no expert on it, but im about 90% sure it will remove your thumbnails

the format would delete all data on the C: of the phone, which is where the thumbnails are stored, thus yes your thumbnails should be gone.

same happens to me bevor 2days....

was also surfing around with selecQ,but i�m shure,that i not delete some importent files...
(i was try out,how some trials react about deinstall 1day bevor end of time,and reinstall them.wanna find out,if it is necessairy to delete the small rest up files or not, i could find sometimes after deinstalling. )

after all my experience about it,i make a fast testup about all my Phone-funktions.They also seems to work fine:
I make my backup,and sometimes later,i wanna send a simpel Sms.
There was a:System-error.
Also if i try to send a MMS,or if i wanna open my other 2 mailboxes.
(The default one with my 1priority-Box works fine.)

So i make first a Softreset,then my Sms work new,but the MMs and Mail still sucks.

I was happy to followe a tipp from a User @aikon.ch,
so i have another Copy of a older backup,what i could load up again,
so all seems to work fine again.
(Only if i make my Backup or transfer a Datas back 2 phone,there is new a popup that say:server backup .....close😮k?i put ok,and all se4ems to work fine.
Anybody know,what this popup means exactly?

Here is the Tipp from the user @aikon.ch:

Make a folder named:Backup 7650.
and put a shortcut to your desktop.

open on your PC the directory:
C/nokia/....
make a shortcut on your Desktop.

Open both folders,copy the Backup Data to Backup 7650

If u make now another backup with other Datas,so the Pc-suite overwrite the old one.

But if u wanna take the old again,only copy it inside the C/Nokia/...
(if u want to hold the New one,first put it temporary out of it,cause same dataname)

restart your Pc-Suite and put the data on your phone.

So u could make differents Backups:

One with only Contacts,kalendar,and a nice Backgroundpicture,so u will have really space in the Memory.

One with your needfull Apps.

One with games,and stuff thats more for fun...

etc.

so this tipp saved my phones live:
i was so much suck down,if happens this to me....
But after 2 hours of crying damnet,f*** and other,better not named words,
my mind starts to wake up again,and i start to surch out my old backups.
Then first i made a softreset again,put all my programs out of phone,
and put the old backup again...

I had no sleep the hole Fu** night,and go @ next day to late to my work.

So it still sucks me today:

Cause its funny to play around with my phone;

but live is more then this,and my work should stay @first alltimes.

If i backup (Using the data suite) my phone and do a HARD RESET, will i get back my SMSes,GRAPHICS and RINGTONES ? And do i have to REassign all my ringtones and graphics again ?
