Hi, i was just going thru the Z: in a 6600 and i went to the folder in system called PSNL which contains the Themes. i was able to copy it to the memory card. also i figured that N-gage wont let you install the Skin SIS files because there is no skin support in N-gage. so you have to extract the files into mbm format and then put it in the system folder under a new folder called Skins. the worst part is i dont have my N-gage with me right now. so i cant test it. can anyone do this? If anything is to happen, just format your memory card. Can anyone confirm if this works?

Me and my friend are doing this now. The Themes application shows up on the menu. but it wont open. my guess is that there are some dlls which we need to copy. can anyone copy all the dll's in the libs folder to the memory card and email me how it went? [email][email protected][/email] Remember you need a big memory card for this.
There is no way whatsoever that you can make 6600 (Series 60 2.x) Themes work on the N-Gage. The required support just doesn't exist & you can't copy any ROM-based (Z-drive) files from a 6600 and execute them on the N-Gage; they won't work either.
The closest you can get is to buy a program such as Smart Launcher and use skins designed for it (the Series 60 Themes are not compatible). Smart Launcher you can find in the shop: http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/shop/
I see Smart Launcher being brought up in every theme thread... Personally I'm not a fan of that program. But I've always hated the default S60 launcher and the lack of customizing options ever since I got a 7650 more than two years ago. And the very first app I bought for that phone, which I'm still using (the app not the phone), is called Active Desk, which, like Smart Launcher, isn't really a substitute for real themes support, but it gives you plenty of customizing options and so much more.
I've attached a few screenshots to show you how I've customized my N-Gage using Active Desk.

Yeah i hate Smart Launcher too. Active desk looks good. but it isnt the same as themes. i mean all the battery bars and everything cant be changed like 6600 themes. am waiting for the Themerizer to come out.

I doubt that will ever happen. That JW dude on the themerizer forums is talking about creating the perfect skin tool for ages! I don't really think he's ever going to complete it (if he even started it)
the themerizer isn't real. the pics are screenshots from 6600 that are send to 3650. The maker of the themerizer failed
