Just bought a 3660. What should I install on it?

Hi!

I've just bought the N3660, which I think is a great phone. Can you guys help me out with what software I probably should install on to it? I'll list out what applications I already know I will want, but maybe you can advise me on which particular app you think is best, and what else I might want to add in? Please keep in mind that I'm absolutely new to this phone, i.e. totally clueless! Anyways, here goes:

I will want to be able to MP3s, so I'll need an MP3 player. Can you suggest one?

I've activated GPRS on the phone, but only seem to be able to view WAP pages. Is there a way to view regular HTML content on my phone?

I have a PDA with an IR port (no BT though), on which I have an html browser. Is it possible to surf the internet on my PDA via my phone using GPRS? If this topic has already been discussed before, can someone point me to it? I did a search, without much luck!

I've seen the 'Photographer' application on a friends' 3650, which I think is a major improvement on the 3660's standard camera software. Would there be a problem if I were to copy the app from the 3650 to my phone? I mean, would there be any compatibility issues?

Similarly, is there an app with which I can record a video longer than is allowed by the standard video recorder?

Thanks!
AK

For UltraMp3 trial...

Or Ogg, which is another compression, its free i think. Use dbpoweramp and the necessary Plugin to convert MP3 to Ogg.

For browser try a couple of these...

For Connectivity, u need to read a lot in the forums, sorry...

Yes you would be able to send photographer to another unit but u still have to buy the code to activate your personal copy of the program, or u could just review then download the newest photographer.

For Video search the forum for EtI camcorder and the likes...

Most apps are for sale but there are free ones as well....

Fexplore - file manager which u can use to browse through your phone and change operator logos etc etc....

S-tris - Like Tetris

Pallete Extender - to reveal 3 more colors other than green, blue and purple...

Just some of the free apps around, but i encourage u to read the forum and try the shop to get around your phone.

Chill.

Thanks a lot! I've already downloaded some of the freeware apps you've suggested, and I'm going through some of the others too right now.

I actually have already skimmed through the forums about my connectivity question, without much luck. I guess I'll have to look deeper, and better... thanks all the same!
