HELLO FRIENDS,
i HAVE STARTED A WAP SITE WHERE I PLAN TO MAKE AVAILABLE DIFERENT SYMBIAN SOFTWARES. mOST OF THE FILES HAVE A .SIS EXTENSION. THE PROBLEM IS THIS THAT WHEN EVER I DOWNLOAD THAT SIS FILE ON TO MY PHONE INSTEAD OF SELF INSTALLING AS HAPPENS FROM ALL THE OTHER WAP SITES MAKING AVAILABLE SUCH SOFTWARES. THE .SIS FILE OPENS IN TEXT MODE. CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHY AND THE REMEDY FOR THIS. WILL BE REALLY THANKFUL.
Is it your own Symbian software, or somebody elses?
If not your own software, do you have the owner's permission to redistribute it on your WAP site (by nature of the software being distributed under some open source license, or by having asked the developer/publisher)?
I would say that no permission has been applied for,as anyone knowing the routes and access rights would surely know the answer to the original question!
Which im sure you are aware of N/A otherwise you would have answered the question Lol. 😊
Viv has made a site put all warez etc in and post the link TWICE on AAS and has being banned for some days.
The same must be used in his Wap site.
He must have put Illegal things over there.
