Problem In Sending .mid Files
I assume your firmware version (*#0000#) is 4.09.1,so that's why you can't send midi, sis, awb, jar etc files. It's because pf copyright protections (though it's sounds silly about the midis)So the solution is to rename the extension of the midi file: *.mid_ ,and the phone will allow you to send it via BT

If this Solution Does't Solve Your Problem. Then try to Upgrade your "Firmware" to v5.01. Something.Take Your phone to Nokia Care Center.

Very impractical if u ask me, just rename the midi using a file manager as mentioned above rename into anything if it doesnt play back on the recipients phone after transfered browse through the systems mail folder and rename the file back to its original extension name.
