Since many people have been asking me about various Nokia phones and when they will be released, their various prices, and about rumors such as the Nokia 7660, I decided to make this FAQ page so that you guys can ask all you want and I'll try to answer to the best of my abilites about Nokia's plans, based on what I know.
So, ask away.

Yes the rumors are definitely true about a new communicator being in development, called as many would think the 9310. Still at least 8 months away, but supposed to bring tri-band, bluetooth, and camera all together into one happy unit, based on future Symbian 7 OS. No idea on pricing or whatever or a final release date, I dont even have a picture of it, but should be here by Fall or Christmas 2003.
But, dont expect it to be cheap.
Well,forgive me for beeing so skeptic,but who are you to confirm something like this? We have all heard about 7650i,7660,i dont know,there might be a 19210 with camera,toaster,bluetooth2 (30KM range) integrated router,posibility for multiple OS's,my guess is that it will run on some posix compliant os,dualbooted with some symbian series ofcourse and so on and so on.
i am a nokia distributor, i ship all the new phones from finland to the united arab emirates. i have inventory lists with release dates of future phones, including their complete features, and i have talked to nokia vp Tapio Hedman directly about a 9310, and although he didn't release much info to me, he told me some stuff
if there was going to be a 7650i, as u belive u've heard of, then why hasn't it been posted on nokia's website yet? once nokia posts a new phone on their website, it takes another 4-5 months to start actually releasing them, so if nokia were to supposedly announce 7650i right now, u wouldnt get till like april or may, and guess what, in february or march, the 3650 comes out, which seems to be the 7650i renamed to me, and redesigned
it does not matter to me whether u belive me or not, out of a happy bunch, there will always be some who will be skeptic and i dont blame u
nokia might consider a 7650i or 7660 AFTER the 3650, but i have no news on that

I just hope Nokia launches the 9310 on time. They normally delay by at least 1/2 year.
It really is embarrassing that I cannot receive MMS messages on my 9210
that 9510 concept u saw is an old design by nokia, its been on their web page for over 3 years
Yes I know I have seen it in the Millenium Dome,London,UK as a dummy phone together with other 3G phones by Ericsson etc. 😊

I don�t like that design, I hope that 9310 looks like our "old" 9210, but with all the new features...and yes, more light! :P
Can you tell me what is the model number of the new Nokia phone, which has a quite big screen and it "opens" like the Motorola phones.
Do you know the exact specifications for this model?
I've seen only a glimpse of it, but it looked quite interesting. I hope I'll have a chance to observe it better next week.

that is just a prototype design, i have only seen it on the minority report area myself, just a very cool looking futuristic design. Hopefully a sign of things to come

If what your saying is tru can you tell me when is the arabic version of 7650 will be release in Dubai??
It is true what I am saying, however some things must be kept in private, but I can say that a 7650 is a 7650, no matter what language. Whenever Nokia starts shipping arabised versions will make no difference in my shipping, after all, they are the same phone, so our shipping is not categorized based on language of that phone, therefore, I have no clue about a 7650 in arabic, although I can tell u it wont be easy to make, just as the Chinese version was having tons of problems. If u remeber, the 8850 and 8890 was never officially arabised, maybe done by some local dealers, but never done officially by Nokia. So, there might never be a 7650 in arabic. There isn't any 9210 that I know of with Arabic keypad, officially I mean.

What they called the 9510 is not just a concept phone ,last year I've had the pleasure to hold one that really works. I've seen some other phones of ES and Nokia you'll will never believe it can work.
Yesterday, when I was consulting a Nokia engineer, he admitted that there really is a next version of 7650 under construction.
First he thougth I meant 3650 (he had 6650 with him, god I wanted to have it 😃) and described the features of it. When I said "it's old news", he said "well, the next version of 7650 will have the same features."
When the follower will be published then? To my (and our) disappointment, he didn't know.
