New A925, first actions.

OK, first of all- n00b. Be gentle.

OK, i have some experience with these sorts of mobile; used to have a SPV E100 smartphone, and have now switched to the rather impressive A925. Now i've got the boring stuff done (install new ringtones, check ability to sync, sync contacts, blah...), i'm wondering what my first REAL actions should be. For example:

*What features should i switch off to conserve battery?
*What freeware is essential, and where do i find it?
*What do i do to install all this free stuff?
*Are MP3 tones really worth it over the MIDI ones i already have?

You know, all that good stuff. The things that bother me most are:

*Where to get a task manager (as i know from experience these devices never shut a previously open program)
*Where to get the emulators for the gameboy advance (mmm, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance...)
*What good notation software is there.

Cheers for any help in advance.

task manager: q-fileman, FREEWEAR. With fileman you can explore system folders and it has a bilt-in task manager.

Cheers guys, much appreciated.

Any idea how i'll find the files i made using notes? They seem to be inaccessable, and don't show up when i look for them using "my A925"...
