This Theme may be my last upload to symbian themes,as there is so much rubbish there now (Some Great themes too),no dis-respect to anyone in particular and thanks to everyone who enjoys and comments on my themes,i just wanted to find a site that wont just accept any old Picture and call it a theme.
I spend a lot of time creating my themes,(as a whole theme and not just a background image) and i want to try and mix it with others who share my values.
Once again,i mean no dis-respect,as im sure you know what i mean,i will of course continue to be active at AAS and i look forward to your comments on this post.
I thought i would try mobile9 as they have a validation process for theme uploads to ensure theme quality,(hope mine are good enough Lol). 😊

I can understand your reasons for losing faith in JW's site. I've said publicly and in pms that you're the best theme-maker out there, and I still stand by that statement. Your work dwarves almost everything else on the site. Any fool can paste a jpeg of a naked woman as 'Background Image' and call it a theme...
I've made some crudely designed themes myself before I had any real idea of what I was doing, and would have continued to do so if I hadn't seen your work as a standard to strive for. I'm still a long way off, but I hope to reach a comparable level of artistry some day.
You've given me and many others encouagement and advice, and I hope you will continue to do so.

We have all made some questionable themes in our time,(Check out my page 1 at symbian themes Lol).
True Theme making is time consuming and requires a lot of trial,error and experience to look great,some of the themes uploaded by the same authors are made quicker than it takes me to make a 'control area' Lol.

Have you considered www.zedge.no as another possible site to upload to? Their administrator puts a premium on quality over quantity, but I think the max size for .sis files is 250 Kb.
p.s. would you like me to tell you how to set the correct date on your phone? 😃
I didnt consider Zedge for the fact that,most of the themes uploaded there are not actually made by the people they say made it,and i want an honest opinion etc.
The 250kbs max .sis size is no problem as i try to keep all my themes below 150k to ensure they dont slow the phone down,i do this by keeping the areas used similar in structure and colour (ie themed) so as not to have too many files creating massive kbs. (The theme above is 39k on pc and 89k on phone,nice and low).
Date Lol: Originally i used to screenshot my phone with the date/time set to 1:1:2000 and 12:00 so the images were uniform to each other (bit fussy i know).
Now i just use a Pc screenshot,of theme studio.

I fully agree with SANDINISTA, you are definitively the best. I tried as you know to make some themes but it's so time consuming that I had to stop, hem... My wife actually helped me a bit to take the decision lol!!!
I will follow your projects here or in another website. Keep us dreaming with your work.
