Is there any way of altering the snooze to the 10 mins that my old 6800 had? 5 min too soon for a lazy bones like me! Thanks for any help received.
7610 Snooze time
I don't think that there is....!
A decent alarm app is something someone needs to create for S60! Quite an area that is lacking for S60 is these small utility apps.
Why Not.
I Think U Create Yourself.
U R Smart.

Damn Right!! 5 minute snooze is pants!! I've searched around a little and not found much. Vickys use of the calender is ok for setting alarms on weekdays but not too practicable. We need somethong that offers multiple alarms, with a user defined snooze time and the ability to use mp3's etc as alarm tones. Not too much to ask for, is it? Maybe something that sends a signal by bluetooth to boil the kettle aswell would be nice!!
You know, this is very off topic, but the problem as I see it is that Symbian is too commerical. There are no developers that want to release software just to make their lives easier and to help the community out.
Let me explain. I came from a Treo 600. Goto treocentral.com. There are dozens of apps developed by community members there that are free and work to address small issues that are lacking or that make life easier for Treo 600 owners. This includes camera apps, small alarm/speaker apps, etc. The same is true with my T3. There are dozens upon dozens of free apps that work to address UI or simple 'make life easier' things. Symbian has maybe 1 or 2. I can only think of FE explorer off the top of my head.
This cannot be explained away by the user base. Symbian leads the world this past year in new units sold vs Palm and PPC. So why is this? I do not know but its a serious problem. Maybe because most Symbian phone owners are like me, they have a PDA already and buy the phone as a secondary device? I don't know.
Maybe I am wrong, I am still pretty new to S60. Please correct me if I am wrong, and point me to where these apps are? They certainly aren't avalible on handango.com. There are even themes that cost money for crying out loud! Themes! Man, all themes ahould be free.
