Enabling RAS for the emulator

"Enabling RAS for the emulator" in the docs of Series 60: do you need a
modem for this? I can't make the example work anyway (and I don't have a
modem, only Ethernet). I would like to use Ethernet... /Joachim

What is the version of the SDK that u r using? If it is 2.0 or lesser then you have to go through a lengthy procedure to enable RAS. If u can install the latest version 2.1. It has a tool which configures the emulator to support ethernet but it lacks some features like the AppWizard which was available for 2.0 and less.
