IMAP/SSL trouble with Sendo-X

1 replies · 2,242 views · Started 13 October 2004

Hi.

I own a X, and I'm experiencing a curious thing, so I'm posting here so maybe someone can help me a little.

I use IMAP/SSL to access my email (these are my jobs' policies). I configure email adress, in/out servers, username, IMAP, security and so on. Configuration is apparently well done.

When I try to read email, I get a (-200) error (cannot connect to IMAP server). But, if I connect Sendo X with my PC, I find:

- If mrouter is running, I can read my email (Sendo PC Connect is not running, so I'm not seeing my Outlook inbox)
- If I kill mrouter, I cannot read email.

Firmware is latest version (50C). I cannot imagine if there is a configuration trick I'm not taking into account, so maybe one of you can help.

TIA.

I thing problem is that Sendo X does not support change of port nuber for IMAP/SSL. It should be port 993 instead of 143 (standart port for IMAP without SSL). I have the same problem on my Sendo X (and Nokia 3650 also). ProfilMail has abbility to change port but does not support SSL.
