i dont know,what country do you come from.... but if its not a problem to go for a holiday to Dubai and Singapure,than i think,that there will be no problem with the price of a phone.... 🙄 😃

In Sweden it's already for sale in (major) retail stores. Although locked and branded to Telia, a price around somewhat over 400 dollars is kindof nice (3000 SEK, 1$ = 7SEK, 3000/7=428). Unlocked and -branded it retails at about 700 USD.

well this was the day: I finally received my long awaited 6630. Availability doesn't seem too good here in Finland, though: the store from where I got mine was immediately out of the 'silver' variant; only 'limegreens' left. Glad I preordered mine early 😊

Hi guys, I'm new to this Forum so lemme intro myself. I was born in dubai and I'm a masters student at State University of New York.
I have changed more cell phones then clothes in my life 🙄 I look for phones that are packed with features. I'm desperately waiting for Nokia 6630. If you goto http://www.nokia.com/nokia/0,,60715,00.html#1 it says Nokia 6630 is available in Middle east, Europe and Asia pacific. I dont understand why Nokia posts this information if the phone is so hard to get. For me ill be waiting for the next 500 phone Stock coz those are the ones bug free. The first 500 phones in the market are always have software problems.
If anybody from Dubai, lemme know ASAP if Nokia 6630 is seen in Dubai.

pictures maybe later because i have some problems with connection via cabel,i downloaded new drivers from the net,but nothing changed... maybe i have to buy an bluetooth adapter to solve the problem
its early to talk about likes and dislikes,but whats pretty good on the phone that is:very good construction,good quaity pictures and photos,very fast speed of menu and all of the running processes,shine and bright display,thats all for now 😃

finally my pc connection with N6630 is now working 😃
working with PC Suite is very fast,everything is working properly.
mp3 playback is very good /ive tried to play an fugees-killing me softly song in 128kbps,the file is 4,31MB,44100Hz/
videos and pictures are very good,if the light conditions are,with internal memory /10MB without RS-MMC/ you can make an 9 minute video /8 minute and maybe 40 seconds/.

hi,there 😃 iam listening mp3 in realone player and its good /but i will try to play it in ultramp3/,menu is fast,the whole phone is very fast.shortcuts-two context keys are comfigurable,on the left is messages and on the right foto-video /in my phone/,but you can change it,if you wish to anything else.the menu can be viewed in two ways,icons,or a list,than you can move only up and down in it,but i think,that whith icons its better. 😃

It is posible since first model of s60 platform (7650) u can choose between list or grid view but grid is much better... 🙄

you can also assign shortcuts to all 5 directions of the navigation button (ie. up, down, left, right and down).
alot of people say that this phone is fast: IMO it is and it's not. when compared to non-smartphones (like 6110, 6210 and the like..) the 6630 is still 'slow': menu/addressbook/what-ever access isn't instantaneous. Still: when compared to 6600 for example: yes, it is faster.
