Hi folks. Can I use my 6600 to work with MSN massenger directly from the phone?
Can I connect to my MSN Massenger using 6600?
Yup.You can use AOL,Yahoo messenger,MSN messenger and ICQ with Agile Messneger. You can download it at: www.agilemobile.com
Be aware though that many users (myself included) are unable to connect to MSN with AgileMessenger.
There is a wap page which you can use for MSN, but it's very impractical. For what it's worth, here's the wap address: http://wap.e-messenger.net/

saw from the forum that someone has this msn.sis. Care to share where to get his application?
The three apps I know of: Agile, IM+ and TipicME. You can find all of them in the shop, I suppose: http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/shop/

This wap site is more troublesome compared to just using AgileMessenger. So I recommend AgileMessenger.
AgileMessenger has had some problems connecting to msn on 6600,however they have fixed this(and many other glitches) as well as improved the graphics.. Make sure you have the latest version.. Work like a charm for me!

You might want to try X-Messenger
Speaking of msn and AgileM, has anyone been able to connect to useless msn lately? I haven't been able to connect to it for the past couple of days with the latest version. ICQ as always is 100% perfect.

It's always worked fine, then all of a sudden it doesn't connect to msn. Guess i'll look into this, ta for the replies.
I haven't been able to connect to MSN on my 6600 for a couple of days. First thought that was related to th client update. Rolled back to version 3,12 but still can't connect to msn. No problems with yahoo though.
To use Agile Messenger you need to have Internet access with full TCP/IP networking with access to ports: 5190, 5050, 1863. Yahoo, ICQ and AOL may work with port 80 or 25. MSN always requires port 1863 to be open.
This is from agiles site...yahoo and aol work fine for me but I have NEVER been able to connect to msn as I do not have full internet...onlt T-zones hence limited ports available.
AgileMessenger just released a new v3.13 version 😊 Get it.
