first post! question about the virus going around!

to the point, there has been a virus on my cuzins 6600 and he got it from some links i sent him. the problem is i download about 50 different files from a site which has many links and i dont know which is from the sites that has the virus. anyway, is there a way to A) scan the files on ur comp to make sure it doesnt have the virus or B) have some program on the phone so that when this virus has come onto the phone it automatically deletes it
