Anyone know of a way (other than virtual PC) to get the firmware on the X with a Macintosh? Also, does the new firmware (1.56 something or other) fix my inability to delete emails from the phone's inbox?

emails can't be deleted from the phone's inbox per say. They sync with your mailbox, so if you delete an email from your mailbox it will get deleted from your phone the next time you connect to your mailbox. Similarly, when you delete a message from the phone (and mailbox), it won't actually delete until you connect it to your mailbox again.
The firmware update site cannot be accessed via an apple mac.
actually even emails that have been deleted from my mailbox are not deleted from my 'phone' inbox. when I choose 'delete' and the 'erase message on phone only' nothing happens, the email just stays. very frustrating.
this phone is SO buggy and Sendo is SO unhelpful.
if you synchronise your phone zith pc, it should be deleted,
choose in the synchronisation that your pc has the upper hand in the data and everything should be ok.
although you can choose that if your phone gets emails, they will not be deleted from your inbox, but that's just another thing isn't it 😊
