Applications for p910?

Hi guys,
Just bought a 910i and I just wanted to check if you would recommend any software I can't be without. Im still not sure what this thing can actually do so I am open to all suggestions haha.

so yeah, so suggestions would be appreciated.

Take care!

Tracker (skin manager and today viewer), filemanager, sman (general system maintenance utilities), Advanced English Dictionary (more encylopedia than dictionary, has to be seen to be believed) and WorldMate (world wide weather, exchange rates, flight schedules, metric\imperial conversions and more). With QuickOffice (cut down MS Office) and Opera (Inter Explorer only far better) already installed, that's pretty much all I use on my P900.

If you're into games or multimedia, then there's a whole load more, but for practical use, I find the above list covers everything I need. Though some prefer to use QuickContact and AquaCalendar to the standard apps and tracker.

I'd like to add UnrealPlayer to that list if you use the mp3 player a lot.

A few good games are S-tris, freemine (both freeware) and Soldier Ants (a Worms clone)

Thanks for the tips! Got Tracker and Worldmate now and they seem to be very handy!

Take care
Martin

What video and audio settings are best on smartmovie for a 910? I have a 512 card, so quality is more important than file size.

I don't use SmartMovie to create my files. I simply utilize SmartMovie for playback. I also use the OEM PV player for playback as well. The above files are both on a 512mb MSD PRO. I've managed to format them to be playable on both SM and PV player with full screen resolution. As you can see from the pics I have streamlined quality and that inturned has had a positive impact on minimizing jerkiness during high motion scenes.

Again, I use proprietary software to do that. So the process I go about doing it is trivial at this point. I am utilizing some of the same authoring tools as I did when I was authoring DVDs back in 2000 with a DVR-S201. I don't believe most consumers in the year 2000 knew what a DVD burner was and they certainly where not sold in local retail stores then. A lot of industrial software was developed for authoring purposes and is actually still used by big industries to-date. These tools are considered as being 'enterprise' software.

Again, I'm sure you can do a search for a number of consumer software in the market that can probably get you favorable results. As to their process you would have to follow their manufacturer's guides.
