PC SUITE not opening.

ei, y'all! i hope this isnt one of those dumb ass questions, really hope u guys could again help me out. i cant seem to get my NOKIA PC SUITE to work. when i open it it says "Nokia 7650 is not attached to your pc.... " even if in fact the IR connection between my pc and the 7650 is ok... i can even send files to and from the 7650 - i gues this would attest the connection is good, however really couldnt get the PC SUITE to work...

tell the PC suite which COM port the IR is using so that it can connect 😊

or maybe u r using Win XP which is for some ppl is not compatible with the pc suite but

maybe u can try with what "Guest" Said try to configure the Port for the Ir Port in the Mrouter on your taskbar

got that!!! i think this is the problem, i am using win xp!!! thanks for the quick response. is there anything else i can do to get the pc suite to work???

umm... not until now cos Nokia haven;t release the Ver. for Win XP

but for some ppl using the Win Xp with the pc suite they got it working but i dunno how cos i'm not using Win Xp

I've had the same problem.

How do I find out which COM port the IR is using, and how do I tell the PC suite. It will allow me to click on <OK> or <close> and nothing else works. All the headers are "greyed out".
