Changing application icons text color

Is it possible to change Application icon text color (the texts that is beneath the icons)? Im using a darkish backgroud image and black icon texts cant be read too well.. 😉 Im using Series 60 Theme Studio from Nokia. Thanks in advance!!

i ran into the same problem: it's hard to believe that it's not possible, considering, that you can change everything else in a theme..

let me change the colour of the text and my HL2 theme is perfect!!

so the way i solved this: adjust the brightness/contrast/intensity of the middle part of the background image, so that the black texts show. at the sametime keep the 'idle background' in the original (dark) form -> this way it (kinda) looks like the application icons (and texts) would come on top of the background image in a shaded new layer (with the org. background image showing underneath).

ps. now my HL2 theme IS perfect 😉
