N7650 WAPSITE UNDER CONSTRUCTION!!!!

7 replies · 2,635 views · Started 08 October 2002

I'm currently constructing a wapsite for all N7650 users. I only have two questions:

a) What size do the pictures have to be on the N7650. I know it's 640 x 480, but how much dpi?

b) How do you shorten Midi files? I have over 2000+ midi files ready to be converted to ringtones.

Furthermore, if you have a wapsite or know of one, leave your details here.

Cheers in advance! 8)

Here's a nice one for background images 😉

If u simply want to shorten your midi files (like me) - that works with "Anvil Studio" http://www.anvilstudio.com/ . Use the command "truncate song" in the file-menue. With this u can delete parts of the song.

Thanks Freddie666. I'll give that go. 😉

I'll let everyone know when the site will be available. Should be a week from now. Any requested pictures or ringtones should be left here. eg. Aaliyah - Try again etc

Thank you all for your contribution. Keep the suggestions and references coming :P

Just wondering......

If I use wbmp, will my images be black and white? And how do I insert a colour image?

Anyone with WML knowledge?

WML 1.3 will support JPEG, BMP, GIF formats, as is used on my site at www.sdjb.net/wap just remember to give them really good compression or the site will take ages to load over GSM, also its a good idea to compress your pages into *.wmlc format as this will reduce loading times further.
