In the realm of Civilization you can act as an Emperor and lead your country through the storm of the History. Later, you can be a King, a Vice President or a Dictator.
You can...
- found cities
- build city improvements (library, marketplace, nuclear plant...)
- establish trade routes
- discover advances (Wheel, Railroad, Advanced Flight...)
- build wonders (Hanging Gardens, J.S. Bach's Cathedral, Manhattan Project)
- improve your country with irrigations, mines, roads and railroads
- manage explorations of the world on land, sea and air
- command your armies to rule all of the known world
- negotiate with your enemies
and many-many other things. The rules are based on the real life and the real history.

Hi !
We're happy, 'cause you like the game. We plan more games with such quality and design... probably fantasy and strategy games. No snake eats apples.

Please do! Civilization is really great. If someone could great a version of "The Sims" for the 92x0 that would be more than a dream... 😉

I'm really looking forward to Simcity!! (saw it on your list 😉 )
BTW: does anyone want to write a tutorial for this game? Or should I do it? (never played the original and I'm having a hard time finding my way 😉 ) 😊
Was there Simcity? I must be blind... 😉 Simcity will be great! I'm playing it at the moment on my Series 7, really fun!
And Settlers is as well on their list! Who needs a real computer or a Playstation? 😉 We soon need larger MMCs than 128 MB! :P
Maybe I could trade my playstation for a 128mmc 😉
Maybe I could trade my playstation for a 128mmc 😉
PS2? 😉 No, I think I still want to keep my 128 MB MMC.. :P
What can be the next game ? It's currently under discussion.
Simcity ? Yes, it's very good, and the Civilization's engine (direct resource accessing, SMT workflow system) can be used very well.
But I think Simcity 2K would be too much for us (time, resource). Maybe the 1st one.
Settlers... one of my favourite game. I hope you think about the 1st one, too. It would be really funny.
Eye of the Beholder... maybe.
Colonization ? It's a littlebit easier and less complex.
MMC:
The problem is the lack of operational memory, not the store memory. As you may see, after reboot, the comm has 2.5-3.2 MB free operational memory (based on installed apps, system settings, etc). It's not a prob (alone). But accessing the store memory is VERY slow. So a game must preload bitmaps, sounds for a particular session. Without this, you have to wait for a moment when the game wants to display a single bitmap.
And... a full-screen bitmap takes 256KB memory.
Last words: sorry for my english, I'm not an expert in your language (but I really try, and I know I have to).

We are trained to understand even the worst 😉 hehe 😊
Yes I know the running memory problem :s Had some real cool apps build up on the emulator, but then the nice "Out of memory" message on the 9210 ... goodbye high hopes 😉 ...
If you do Simcity do the first one 😊 It's easier then the 2k and at least the same amount of fun 😊
Now this might be something to difficult but something real-time like Command&Conquer, that would rock! 😊 (But I think this will always be a dream 😉 )
Keep up the good work!
/me shouts "SETTLERS" very loud (although Settlers 2 was the best).
Very few games of old that I still play now and enjoy as I did back then, Settlers 2 is one (and yet to be surpassed by it's sequels), and the other is the original Civilisation (again not surpassed by it's sequels).
As for a CIV manual, I'll have a dig around my PC I know I'll have one somewhere....
As for Simcity I have to agree with Dazler! Go for the first one (that has been ported as well to ER5 and is fun to play!). Same with Settlers, if you managed to have the first version for the 92x0, that would be more than great!
My votes for Sim City (1). Someone wrote a buggy version for the 9110 and it was the nuts. Unfortantly they stopped developing it after a while.

Soon?
I think that time is allready present..

From where do you get 256 MB or larger MMCs? I'm not aware that they are available! 😉
I meant the time is present and we allready need 256 MMC.

Iam new to civilisation and would appreciate this, have another look!
That would be the best thing to create for a moble ever.
go for it!!!
Is this game still available and will it be compatible with the 9300? The link given in the first post is a dead link.
I'm considering getting the 9300 or 9300i. I used to play this game all the time back in college (10-12 years ago!). Definately addicting!! I can't believe it's available on a mobile phone. 😊
