Terrible voice dialling on the 7610

I returned a 7610 because it just would not voice dial any number in the car. I have the same problem with the replacement 7610. Even with the Nokia headset it does not recognise most names. My ols 6310 was perfect for voice dialling.
Is this a problem on the 7610? Is there any solution? Does anyone else have this problem?

Not sure if you can, but you should record the voice dials through the headset if you can then this will give a good recording for it to match with when you are in the car.

there is a bug on the voice dialler where it will not match with the first 1 second of what you record apparently. Wait for a brief moment after the "doo-didly-doo" sound to record and say your voice dialled name.

hope this helps,
cheers,
Nyx.

(cant believe I just put doo-didly-doo, doh!

Humm, not having any vioce dialing probs here but I did as Nyxmorph suggested. I recorded all the names from my headset. Make sure you don't speak too fast and also that it more than a one syalbale word.
