My manual talks about an IM application in my Menu container. No IM. I assume this isn't supported with ATT. Is this true? If not, how, and where do I get a client?

The 6620 from ATT has no IM -- there is a note somewhere about this on a small piece of paper from what I recall.
This is pretty crappy...it's one of the reasons I bought the phone.
I really hate how you basically have to buy the phone to figure out what it actually does...complete specs/manuals are available for most phones and the local vendors at att stores are compleat doofus' when it comes to knowing what the phones actually do.
Try Agile Messenger. It supports quite a few differnent im's and I think you can log into all at the same time. Quite a nice app.
Through ATT's mMode you can connect to one of your IMs.
