Hi,
I`ve just getting started with an project that should use Bluetooth. I've installed Symbian OS 2.0 on my computer and codewarrior. In order to learn how things are working I tried an example from a book I've purchased. However, when I compile the code the compiler can't find t32alm.h, which should be located in c:\symbian\UIQ_70\epoc_32\include\ealwl.lib.
I guess this library is important for the Alarmm Server (I checked it up). Now I'm woundering if someone knows why I have this problem. Shouldn't all library files be installed after installing Symbian OS? Can I find the missing lib file and istall it myself? If so, where can I find it?
regards,
Anders :con?
Wrong section. Thread moved (I hope in the right section though ...
There is no "Symbian OS 2.0" (the first OS release known as Symbian was 6.0; anything prior to that was "EPOC"😉. Did you mean to say that you installed the UIQ 2.0 or UIQ 2.1 SDK?
What version/edition of CodeWarrior?
Also, which books is the sample from?
Sorry, I mean UIQ 2.0. The book is Symbian OS Communication Programming and can be found here, http://www.symbian.com/books/socp/socp-info.html, the code example as well.
The example I'm trying to run is called BTIM.
I would be very thankful for any help. I suspect that the example is developed for UIQ 2.1, but how do I get around that problem without installing the 2.1 version. (I need UIQ 2.0, since I'm developing on a P800)
Regards,
Anders
Only "EALWL.DLL" and "T32ALM.h" were included in "s60_2nd_sdk_fp3_b.zip". s60_sdk_v2_0.zip is in "EALWL.LIB".
