Hi.
Right out of the blue, the "menu" button (blue, below the green dial/accept button on the left) has stopped working on my 6600. Tried rebooting - but nothing. It's not been dropped (more than usual), and no new software or firmware has been installed. Has anyone else come across this? Any suggestions?

I've seen this problem reported elsewhere, and no-one came up with a fix for it.
I suggest you try to exchange the phone, assuming it's still under warranty.
Oh, no. What a nuisance. I can't beleive it. Perhaps a hard-reset might work? (not even sure how to do that, or if it's possible)
a simelar thing happened to me just with the down button on the joystick
i fixed it by reebooting without the sim or mmc
try this but if the problem persists then you should exchange it
It has happened to me too, i just restarted the phone and it was fine.

The same happened to me today as well. After restarting the menu key worked again.
Couple of weeks earlier keys 2,5,8 and * stopped suddenly working. Had to take the phone to the service center to get it fixed. Apparently they changed some pieces of hardware and after that the phone has been working fine.
I've a problem with down button of my joystick. At times, when i press my joystick down(say in contacts), instead of going down once, it goes down twice..........Not solved after restarting, reformatting. Any solution.
I'm having the same problem with my joystick. it will let me move all directions but i cannot select with it.

I took mine to my Nokia Service Centre and they fixed it under warranty. Was well impressed 😊
