Software update for the 7610 audio — Nokia 7610 and 6670

I took my new 7610 to a Nokia service centre to see if they could fix the voice dialling which does not recognise my voice at least 90% of the time. The guy said it was a software problem and may be fixed in the update that Nokia regularly puts out. The current version my phone uses is V4.0421.4 of 22-05-04 RH-51
Does anyone know when an update for the 7610 software can be expected and whether it will have improvements to the voice dialling and maybe to the audio quality which is not very good? Can I download it myself?

Well Kharas V4.0421.4 of 22-05-04 RH-51 This was the frist version and after that 2 version are in the market. As u r saying that u have upgrade the Fimware from NSC and u currently having V4.0421.4 then before upgrade u were having the same version.
And u can't upgrade your Nokia7610 software yourself.

Thanks for your reply. The service point here says that what I have IS the latest software. Nothing has been updated. Do you know what the improvements in the two updates are? I am primarily interested in getting the voice dialling to work
