when I want to transfer mp3 files via BT, Nokia PC Suite wants to convert it to wav. How to do it without converting to listen to mp3's with UltraMP3? The only way I found out is to download them one by one with bemused but this takes much too long.

Yes this is the problem in non-supported mp3 SymbianPhone.
U just have to use any PC File Manger or Use PC Card Reader.
And if u haveOnly ifu have a lot of Free Phone Memory then u transfer direct to phone
Or Change the Messages Memory to Memory card.
Otherwise i will not suggest u to transfer songs direct to phone memory.
What do you mean with 'any PC File Manager'? U mean the 'Send to Bluetooth' function? Right, that doesn't work with Phone Memory. Thanks for the help. Going to try to change the inbox folder to MMC.
I was talking abt the PC File Manger i know one from epcoware.
And if u have change your message memory then u can send the mp3 direct to ur inbox and use Fx Exp to transfer them from inbox to some mmc folder.
I was talking that avoid sending to phone memory bcoz some times the it give low memory error and when we boot up it won't and some times show error of "phone startup failed*"
*I offenly see some people facing this prob just my exp.

here the step's :
1. open windows explorer on your pc
2. select the song that you want to send to ypur phone
3. right-click --> send to .... using bluetooth or IrDa
that's the step.. so DON'T use PC suite...
