Restoring Network

Does anyone know the quickest way to restore the network on a Sendo X when it seems to drop it? (I have f/w 1.56.2.2) I have read here that ppl are just turning their phone off then on - is there any way to restore it without doing this? I have been killing the satserver.exe process (with AppMan) - this seems to just make the phone reboot (which is slightly quicker than actually turning it off then on). I was hoping that it would be possible to kill some process which would restart & restart the network, but no luck so far.

Anyone got any better techniques?

I think I tried this, but once it had dropped the network it couldn't find ANY networks if I did a manual search. I'll give it a try next time it happens though...

Tried searching for the network manually & it didn't work. Just says 'No network found'... :frown:

I have actually had some success killing the UNIPERTAR process. This process will instantly restart, and often seems to bring the network back after a minute or so.
Not sure if it's just coincidence or not, but it does seem to be of some help...

I hear that the quickest way is to change the setting in network band selection to 900/1800 setting.
My phone seems to be much better once this is done.

Yeah I tried this - it's 1900 for me here - made absolutely no difference though... :frown:
