I'm having a night mare of a time trying to synchronise my 7610 using outlook and nokia pc sync, it will read my contacts, and then cancel the operation, the report states that Sync ML Server encountered a problem and aborted the synchronisation, i've tried everything I can think of, including getting a sync ml account (I had never touched these settings before!) I've uninstalled nokia pc suite and reinstalled. same old problem. please help as its driving me nuts!

Just Unstall Pc Suite and Install the Latest Version After installing just onpen Sync and octlook and do the setting in Sync manually and then just connect your phone in Phone connection Option. Hope it works with u.
And the latest is version 6.4 (which includes also the latest DKU-2 cable drivers in the same package): http://www.nokia.com/pcsuite
When you have installed it, connected your phone & Plug & Pray has discovered it, launch Nokia PC Sync and hit "Properties" and then "Create new configuration" in order to start from "scratch" with the synchronization.
I had more problems with 6.4 than 6.2 ... and I find 6.3 to be more stable
I'm sticking with PC Suite 6.3 for DKU-2 connectivity with my 7610 ...
I've uninstalled and installed and even tried it on my other computer (laptop) which has just had the hard drive formatted (and has no other programs on it) but it produces syncml errors every time.
Where can I get a copy of 6.3? perhaps that will work.
New 7610 out of the box - installed DKU2 cable driver, then PC suite, waited for all the drivers to install after hooking up the phone and, o-oh, it couldn't get the SyncML on the phone to respond even though it had connected OK. The user guide wasn't much use. Checked a few threads and, thanks to this one, decided to upgrade from 6.2 on the CD to 6.4 on the Nokia web-site (uninstalled 6.2 first). Drivers installed again automatically and bingo, problem solved, near enough 400 contacts saved onto the phone plus my calendar (5 weeks worth). Ta muchly.

I am also having a nightmare of a time with syncing my 7610 to outlook.
I also get the same error as the above thread, and when i look on my phone the Sync app is still running and i cant exit out of it - i then have to reboot the phone -
i recently had the phone's firmware upgraded to 4.0437.4 - could this be it?
I am using PCSuit 6.4 and still not working - it was working before the firmware update.
