7610 shows problem sending files

Hey guys the basic prob with my 7610 is dat whenever i try to transfer any file from my phone to someother phone via bluetooth it shows a problem sayin "Protected items cannot be sent", eventough those items are not Nokia copyrighted. Cant really understand wat the problem really is about...note: not all items show this error.......images r transferring...... mostly my ring tones section is creating problem.....Need help!!!

All that is required is an easier way to rename the file extension of the protected file you wish to send..... I have used the FOWARD program for sometime now (7650 - 3650 - 6600) although a fantastic program it still cant send protected files on the likes of the 7610..... My solution to this is :

The foward.sis program source code is available from the authors web-site....
Is there anyone out there than can use this guys source code (Freely Avail) and add a simple rename function to the main menu of this program ?

As no doubt most people are aware.... just by adding say a simple Minus (-) sign to the the end of the file extension of the file you wish to send and it will be transmitted happily..... then its a simple rename procedure for the person receiving it (Remove the minus sign) and it will install....

I know this can already be done using FExplorer.... its just a little confusing to a novice user.... having to go into various drives and then folders upon folders... (If you get my drift).....

So, can this be done with the superb FOWARD Program ?
And who would be able to perform this ?

Any ideas PLease.......

This file protection thing is doing my head in!

the renaming technique only works when sending to other nokia phones, i cant send a renamed .mid file to a sony ericsson t630! 😞 any way of doing that?

Try MOBILUCK at www.mobiluck.com pretty cool bluejack software, it can even send protected files no funning

ProfiExplorer (comes bundled with ProfiMail) can send ANYTHING via Bluetooth, regardless of Nokia's attempt to protect copyrighted information.

You can send JAR ... SIS ... MP3 ... MIDI ... etc etc
