9500 gps

Does anyone know, if present Communicator GPS System, will work with the 9500?

It depends. Probably the sotware will work. Instead the GPS LAM 1 seems not to be compatible since the standard port for the new communicator is a PopPort, so LAM should not work with the new device.

Since Serie 80 should grant compatibility with old products, TOMTOM CM and RouteP should still be usable.

9210 software , Tom Tom City Maps and Route Planner works on 9500 but the GPS function does not since the 9210 module cannot connect. I am going to try a Bluetooth GPS module with the 9500 but I think the "old" City Maps and RP will not work.
