Help me guys my 6600 default browser was hacked! I thought at first it was my network's error but when i checked my friend's phone they can browse without any problem!
What happened to my browser is that everytime I type a site, it will always be redirected to a certain site that has: "Index of /" title at the top of my screen.
When I checked the url by selecting GO TO URL i found out that the site that typed, for example www.google.com becomes www.google.com/testjay.wml
Its weird dude! the hacker add its site to all urls that i input... then suddenly i have found a messge at the buttom by scrutinizing it and there was a saying: "web grabber test" then there's the name of the creator i think "kamerolifant"
I'll be posting the screen shot of my phone later but im just wondering the extent of this hacker for series 60.
Meanwhile, i'\ll try to format my phone later
pls post your ideas then. thanks!
i formatted my phone by pressing greenkey,* and 3 but when i accessed again the internet, i was redirected again to a certain site.
Here is my phone's screenshot:
www.geocities.com/ps0417/redirect AND
www.geocities.com/ps0417/grabber
Application which is doing this might be in MMC. Please send me email to . I can try to help further.
Or perhaps it is an operator access point or gateway/proxy issue (instead of anything on the phone)?

Nope.. My friend has 6600 also and i made a mock up (settings) of my phone on his and i didn't encounter any problem like mine (using his phone)
Hmm... could be a program installed in MMC? if that is the case i can try accessing the web without the MMC and see if it will still redirect to that page.
lemme try it out now...
