N6630 - Nice features but-ugly!!

9 replies · 4,428 views · Started 01 November 2004

Too bad Nokia still do not know how to design a mobilephone
because this phone really has awesome features and capabilites.

The 6630 looks simply ugly, and I would now want to spend
a lot of money for this cumboersome and akward unit!

too bad

But as always, Nokia releases a an "i" unit or an upgraded/modifed
unit when they discover that the initial release won't sell, e.g. from
3650 to 3660 (akward keyboard), og 6110 to 6110i etc etc etc...
So maybe I will buy yhe 6630i when they remove the but-ugly
round shape with wide shoulder sticking out at the bottom !

Well if u thinking like that, u can wait untill eternity...

Nokia will relase this week more then 5 new models, and two of them will be s60 platform like 6630, nad both will be much better phones, one will have full keyboard and one dual cam,
so wait 4 this phones,
and than wait again for next generation,
and than wait untill enternity...

BTW:

Nokia 3230: Series 40, music youth phone, I-pod alike
Nokia 6xxx or lets call it here 6300: Series 40, 128*128 with features like
bluetooth etc, not the best specifications, but cost less than the 6230
Nokia 6830: Series 60, A full keyboard, UMTS but no dual cam
Nokia 8220: Series 40, Very small and light (85g), 128*128 screen and VGA
camara, Hot swap MMC cards, bluetooth
Nokia 8650: Series 60, 176*208 screen, 129g, MMC/SD cards support, mp3,
bluetooth, Dual cam, and will be available 2Q '05
Nokia 8920: Series 40, 128*128 screen, Bluetooth, VGA camera, MMC card, mp3
Nokia 7710: Series 90, successor 7700.

the 6630 is a good loking phone, much better than other Nokia phones out there. And no they will not release an "i" version.

This was before anyone actually knew these phones existed. The data is outdated so to say
