I am fustrated, i jus bought the phone two weeks ago. I installed netfront, and it was working fine, but then i went in to the city (Chicago) and it stopped working. Same with agile messenger. So i thought let me do a hard reset. Then i reinstalled the applications, and now as soon as they try connecting, app closes. In addition I cannot edit the t-zones gprs settings, they jus wont be allowed to be changed, nor can i delete them, what do i do?
Problem with Phone NEED HELP
It could be possible that the firmware on this handset is somewhatmore closed than with ones not sponsored by a telco. It is possible to preset teh gprs and other connection types wich can't be altered.
Workaround, is it possible to create a new entry? When you've created it make it the default one.
And the apps, which app does what? I don't know off any problem with Agile, it works fine with all the Nokia handsets, the ones I've seen. But again these were phones wich can be altered (even to rom files) . Maybe you could do a ROM flash at a Nokia service point? Don't know if the are allowed to but it could solve some of these problems.
