apps are showing by emulator

i am new to symbian.
i have downloaded series 60 and built the helloworld example but i could not see anything on emulator screen.
emulator is just displaying ' series60 '
what could be the problem...? any path settings are missing..?
i have set all path variables for VC and Symbian....

i built 3 examples but nothing i could find on emulator screen......

plz...help me

I don't know the exact situation, but EPOC Emulator takes a log time to initialize. So wait about 1-2 minutes before it gets initialized and gets past Series60 label...
