Contacts synchronisation with Outlook

I have some problems with Contacts synchronisation with Outlook.
Very often, some fields are not transferred from 9210 to Outlook, especially when the field has been added to the "standard" fields.
Is there a way to backup the 9210 Contacts database in a simpler way than synchronisation with Outlook? For example by exporting the Contacts database to a txt file?
Thanks for your help,
Max

In File manager there is an option to back up the communicator to the MMC. This backs up everything. If u then want to back up the MMC to a PC, the best way is to buy a MMC reader which gives 10+ times faster transfer rate to the PC through USB port. It takes me 3 mins to back up a 128 MB card.

Thanks. It works well.
Now I have a new question: do you have any PC-application that enables to view the contacts.cdb file on your PC.

The reason is described in the table here.
