6260 and full screen 3gp player?

6 replies · 15,975 views · Started 05 November 2004

I have tried Pvplayer and the installed Realplayer but I have not been able to get video full screen. It would be really nice to get the video turned 90degrees to fully use the great display.

Does anybody has a more info or even solution for this?

I am a newbie in Series60 so this can be my lack of knowledge issues.....

Try "Smart Movie". Find more about at www.aikon.ch/7650 at Reviews!

I try this Smart Movie but I am not able to open the videos on phone or memory card. Or to be exact the Smartmovie does try to find movies but do not find any. 3gp-files supported at all?

Hi everybody,

I was also looking for this when by accident found out a way.

I send the 3gp file over bluetooth, the video goes to the Inbox, i open the message and it plays (no fullscreen), i close the player and it asks if i want to save the video i say yes. After this i go to the Gallery and open the video, the video is automaticly rotated 90 and plays in fullscreen (at least on my N80).

That's normal; newer phones have a version of RealPlayer with full-screen support. The old 6260 didn't. This thread is from November 2004! 😉
