6260 Car Kit Compatibility

Having jsut purchased the 6260 phone, I'm having problems connecting it to the Nokia 610 Bluetooth car kit - most reports I read prior to getting this phone said it was compatible, however I'm now finding that it doesn't have the feature "Sim Access Profile" that is required to connect to the car kit - like the 6230 does for example.

Is there no way around this? Can this feature not be installed onto the O/S?

Many Thanks

No, you cannot use N6260 with Car kit phone N610 in the same way like N6230, N6810, N6820 or S65 (via remote SIM Access).

You can only use it as a dual device - if you have dual (duo) SIM (pair of SIMs with the same number), you can put one of them into the N610 and the second one leave in N6260 phone. Then you are able to switch between these two phones in the usual way - as it is being used when you use dual SIMs.

Using sync application for S60 phones you can synchronize contacts and calendar between these two phones via Bluetooth any time you like.
