I am not able to send/receive email from my Nokia N-gage mobile.

Hi All,

My service provider has given me email configuration settings and they are successfully stored to my Nokia n-gage.

When I tried to connect my mailbox from N-gage It shows me
"Connection to mailbox "mailboxname"
and after some time it gives me eror message as
"Mailbox disconnected. Mailbox was idle for given specified time".

Again,when I tried to send an email from N-gage to some other account then the email automatically moved to outbox with status "queued". I tried to send that mail to the specified account then N-gage gives me error as "General : Operation time out."

It would be really great if I get any pointers.

1. Make sure you have your operator's GPRS Internet Access Point (IAP) defined.
2. Make sure you have a subscription/plan that allows you to use the IAP.
3. Make sure that the IAP is defined in Messaging app for the email mailbox settings.
4. If you have your ISP provided email settings, use your operators SMTP server for outgoing mail instead of your ISPs SMTP server (if your ISP is not your operator, too).

Can you pls let me know how u came around this problem? Coz I do face the same problem and has know clue how to solve it...
