Hi there,
the second try, because the topic was wrong on this BBS.
As a User of a 7610 with Symbian Series 60 I look for help.
I checked all topics concerning copy contacts to SIM.
The first thing to understand is that only phonenumbers without space or other characters will be copied to SIM. Thats shit, because I dont want to store my numbers in contact folder in plain format - its no help reading them without spaces. It may be necessary for the SIM so they might be converted.
The second thing is the name on the SIM - Symbian gives all numbers of one contact the same name - the shit grows.
There is a solution coming with Sony-Erricsson T610 - it copies all numbers (converts them automaticly, too) and - what a great solution - gives the names an addition like "Girlfriend/H" or "Girlfriend/M" which means Home or Work.
Does anybody of you have an idea if there is a tool to do this or can anybody tell me if there is one to be programmed?
The background is that i want to sync a car phone that only works on plain SIM contacts - and I need it filled with all my important numbers...
Thanx for reading,
Dirk
