I am not able to deleted the directory or files.

Any help wil be apperciated

System Wizard

I've had similar problems when playing around with installation files. Aare there any odd processes running if you press and hold down you menu (blue arrows) button? If there is, you can try to stop it using a memory manager (Switcher etc.)

I can't see how an app like FExplorer wouldn't delete the files and folders, but otherwise using a memory card reader on a PC with a decent OS should do it...

As for your friends unit, you have to search through your messages folder for the offending files. Again FExplorer has sorted me out a few times in this situation, it great for searching and deleting these sorts of things. It's been covered quite comprehensivley in a thread on here b4...

Good luck...

I am using a Nokia 3650 and experienced the similar problem as you guys. i.e. General: Already in Use
I used a Notepad to view the index file located in c:/system/mail . I then erased some text which I believed is linked to the corrupted file. However, I guess I did not erase it correctly cause when I put my MMC card back into the phone, and opened the Messaging program, there is not even one icon in it.

Nokia should have written a program to de-cypher those binary stuff in a user-friendly-pc form.

I was searching the web and I do not know if this helps. Goto http://www.zedge.no/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=269 to read the message there.
Basically this guy just tells you to: -

1 Go to http://www.aivanet.com/en/
2 Download 50kb file explorers for your phone.
3 upload the file explorer to your phone
4 launch it, and go: C:\System\Mail\ to delete your file

Hope that helps
