Hi All
I've just joined this forum as I want a smartphone, and I'm looking at the sendo x as it has a good set of features and looks like it will work well with isync on os x.

Im a bit worried about all the negative posts about this phone though!

Are most of the main bugs fixed now, mainly, is it usable as a phone, is teh reception good, and does it have a good responce time?

And do we have theme support yet?

The other thing im worried about is bluetooth support. I will be using bluetooth for all my syncing and installing apps, so it has to be solid. Does it work ok, and not keep loosing conection?

Thanks
M

i'd have to say i have no problems whatsoever with reception (before i had but new firmware fixed this.
and bluetooth connection is very strong.

Series 60 Themes won't work on the Sendo X, because it is based on a Series 60 release without Themes support. Sendo is however, supposed to (I don't know if it already is) make a theme editor of their own available through their [developer?] web site.

I hope they do, and I hope the editor will let us convert otehr themes for use on the sendo.

The other thing im wondering is the resolution of teh screen on teh sendo x. Im use to the se k700i which has a v nice hirez colour screen with good looking icons. The screenshots of series 60 I have seen all look very low rez aand ugly. Have I just been looking at old screens?

The Sendo X screen is 176 by 220 pixels and 65536 (=65K) colours.

The Sony Ericsson k700i also has a 176 by 220 pixels and 65K colours display.

They might come from different manufacturers and use different technology, though.

Thats good news, i must have been looking at screenshots of old nokia models.

Im really looking forward to teh theme editor and making some nice themes, but do you think it will be the icons too? Im not sure i like teh default icon set.
