Apple has just posted an software update, a release note is listed here;

http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=300080

In the note you can see a point mentioned "Adds WMC connectivity capability for Nokia 7610 phones."

Nowhere does it explain the nature of WMC, perhaps I am being a total noob, but the link associated doesn't seem to have any explanation either.

Could this be part of the fabled update that might allow the 7610 to use iSync (hopefully over bluetooth)? I noticed in some presentation graphics in a recent Steve Jobs 'apple special event' that an image of the 7620 was used, most unusual(!) Maybe this is a hint of things to come?

Anyone who can get this info out of apple can post a reply here, and I would sure be grateful. AS of this post there seems to be no change listing this device as able to sync via iSync, see this link;

Yeah I've just seen it too. Bit freaky as I bought a new 7610 3 days ago! do we even know what WMC stands for? taking a flying guess i'd say Wireless Mobile Connection or something.
