Mine's v3.12 so probably not the newest (pobably up to v10.XX now knowing Nokia)... so just wondered what the latest version is?
I find the need to reset the phone every so often as it it sometimes says "Camera memory full" if I don't as well as various other problems.
Haven't tried Carphone Warehouse in the UK to update this phone but can they or do I have to send it off to a different company?

Carphonewarehouse usually can, since CLUB NOKIA in the UK is actually Carphone ware house!
You can check for your nearest club nokia (NSC) in the club nokia web site!

I haven't checked recently, but last week they had to send your phone away for an upgrade in Firmware. (1-2 Weeks) 😞

I have called carphone warehouse this morning as mine needs upgrading (also version 3.12) .. they are a Nokia approved repair centre but have to send the 7650 away to nokia for firmware updates. BTW it is the second one I have had from them in 7 weeks, the first was firmware 3.16 but kept collecting dust behind screen , they couldn't fix it so they gave me a new handset...with firmware 3.12 :evil: !!

The last software version i heard was the 4.23, but i think is not official information :-?

May i know what do you mean by "supports digital zoom"?
My guess is that in V3.16 they added an option in the camera app for digital zoom (like camerafx has),but it has no or very small practical use
THIS IS WHAT I UNDERSTAND AS "DIGITAL ZOOM".
Open image
press OPTION
They will have menu like -
Send >
Rotate >
Zoom In
Full screen
Delete
Rename
View details
Add to Favourites
If you select ZOOM IN, the image is increase first by 50%. OR you can increase the image again to 100% (I do not know what is the maximum zoom size)
Then the menu will be -
Send>
Rotate>
Zoom in
Full Screen
Delete
Rename
View Details
Add to favourites
Exit
And if you then select Zoom In, then full screen, you can see the image filled in the whole screen.

so the digital zoom in the Ver. 3.16 is the option to zoom for 50%
but can you zoom while you are finding the picture in the viewfinder or you can just zoom after you take the picture?????
then In my ver 3.12 if i press zoom in it goes to 200% not 50%

Everyone's talking about something not relating to the subject of the thread. So what is the latest firmware version? Mine is 3.16. If there is a new one, what's new in it and is it worth upgrading to it?
