Tmobile has the 6600 but not the 6620. What are they waiting for? Does anyone know when they will get it or why they have not gotten it yet? I called Tmobile today, but some blow hard told me "its because they dont want to be trendy and they only want to offer the best phones so they are going to wait." What kind of crap is that? the 6620 is one of the highest rated phones ive ever seen.
Tmobile and the 6620?
T-Mobile where (T-Mobile in Germany or T-Mobile in the US or elsewhere)? (You don't say where in the world you are. 😉 )
Outside North America, it doesn't make sense to sell/use the 6620, because it only supports 1800MHz GSM and is thus not very useful here where also 900MHz would be needed (it is OK for North America with GSM 850/1900).

yeah sorry, I live in california not germany.
T-Mobile doesn't support GSM 850 in their USA network and they don't have EDGE (just GPRS), so it's unlikely that the 6620 will ever show up on T-Mobile USA. If you want one from a service provider, you'll probably have to go with Cingular (who just finished swallowing AT&T Wireless).
A friend of mine is pretty pissed out that situation with T-Mobile also. He definately does not want the 6600 when the 6620 is out, but got no luck from T-Mobile either.
Actually, the only service that I know of that carries the 6620 is Att/Cingular or whatever they call themselves now. But perhaps you can try getting an unlocked 6620 and running it with T-Mobile (minus the EDGE).
