Hi guys!
a friend of mine has given me his 9210i to rescue his data from it. The problem is that the display is broken, so I'm working pretty much blind. Th PC suite copied all data to my pc but I still can't find the notes that were saved in desk...
Does anyone know how or where I can get these notes?

Wrong forum. The 9210 is a series 80 device
All the notes on your desktop are under folder:
Communicator\System\Favourites
Just look for all files backup under the folder above and restore them to your repaired communicator. You should get back your notes on the Desktop.
