How much do you pay per month to be able to send and receive faxes from your 92xx?
Here in the states T-Mobile charges $9.99/month just to be able to send and receive faxes! ... And I thought GPRS was expensive 😉

Last I knew on Orange in the UK it's free, just ring em up and get it turned on. Personally I never deal in faxes so don't use the option myself, but I know friends who do and can't remember them mentioning any charges except sending the fax.
Here in SA you just ring em up and pay about 5pound once off to get it enabled! After that you just pay for the call when sending!
Vodafone Netherlands doesn't charge me extra for a data or fax option.
Only a different rate is charged for data calls... i'd rather pay an extra fee per month as an extra fee per call.... :-?
Do other Dutch operaters charge for data differently? 😮
Vodafone enabled it for me at no cost (UK). They give you a seperate incoming fax number.
I think you pay for the duration of the fax call, even when it is an incoming call though. I think that is fair, but I'm not sure what the call costs are. I think they are the same as if you had dialled out a data call.

Hmm... sounds to me like a disincentive to use CSD on T-MobileUSA. But it reallyisn't a biggy for me because I have a unified messaging account that I can use with additional cost since I already have it.

Yeah, but what choice do you have in the US?
o2 in uk consider all data and fax the same as a normal call, 0845 numbers are 10p a min tho, so fax a local or national number and it comes out of inclusive minutes
With my operator here in Finland, I don't have to pay anything additionally to send and receive faxes on my 9210.

I guess Dutchtone are the only one to support an all-in package, including SMS, Fax and data, but I'm not quite sure about what it all does and doesn't include. Check www.dutchtone.nl for more.
