My inner geek is wanting a sendo x, but my inner accountant is making me think twice. Why do i want a sendo x when i have a k700i.
What are the best things about having this phone, what would i want it for.
My main reason for wanting one was to install apps, but what useful apps do you use? My k700i sysncs my organiser stuff fine, and I can even blog from it. what else would i wanT?
1. your K700 doesn't have symbian
2. your K700 doesn't have a memory card slot for SD/MMC cards

Yes, but thats teh question. What would I want teh series 60 os for and what would i want the sd clot for? Yes i know sybian will allow me to run loads of apps, and i know a sd card will let me save loads if stuff, but what stuff is there for series 60 that is cool and more than whats on the k700?
I know there is loads of things to play around with, but at the end of teh day, i need to justify to myself i need this phone, and not justas a toy. I need to have some apps that i can get that are really cool and cant be run on a k700.
Any ideas? What do u use yours for?
calling ofcourse, sms, synching with Outlook express, agile messenger for msn, wayfinder for bluetooth gps routeplanning, checking my email, MP3, watching movies when travelling, playing a game to kill time sometimes, alarm clock, agenda, currency converter, notebook, making movies and pictures with flash when i go out
etc etc... 😊
anyway, we're not salesmen of Sendo and i don't really see why we should convince you to buy the same phone as we have.
I really don't like people telling me what i should and should not...
don't go there 😉

Everything he said plus my new sendo is running doom in landscape mode, no slowdown or anything runs perfect. I have a few full CDs of music on the SD card and I use quick office to view/edit word/excel/powerpoint documents. I can watch the slideshows for my classes without my laptop. I had a T610 and I am very impressed with the sendo x, I don't experience any of the problems people have mentioned.
Cool. Thanks everyone. I guess i just needed convincing as its a lot of money to spend on a phone when i alreadyhave a very good one that can do many of the sendo x features.
Ordered myself one and should get it monday 😊

Where did you get your sendo X from? I'm thinking of getting one too and your experience is the best i've read so far.
Thanks in advance

I didnt think Quickoffice would install on the SendoX as it was designed for Symbian 0S 7.0 (i.e. as used by Nokia 6600) rather than the Symbian OS 6.1 used by the Sendo X.
Actually I downloaded quickoffice using shareaza and it works fine. I got my sendo off ebay from expansys's seller, it was refurbished or something, who knows it was in perfect condition no scratches or anything and he sent me a free US AC converter since the phone is french.

Just in relation to the cost of the phone, I just ordered one from the Vodafone website and its free with an 18 a month contract for 100 minutes. Definitely a competitive proce for the phone.
