Nokia 6260 vs Sony Ericsson K700i

Hi Guys,
I have been looking all over the internet trying to find information, and my local phone retailer doesn't know it either and I presumed that someone here might know.

Do you know what format the camera records video in?

Does it work with the Apple iSync software?

It I can get a positive for both those questions then I will buy the Nokia instead of the Sony Ericsson.

Thank you for your time and Help

It records in .3gp format. Which Real player plays quite happily on a PC. Dont know about I-Sync, sorry.

I don't get it how can people compare symbian smartphone like 6260 to a crapy ericsson. K700i is just a phone and it can't do things smatphones can, they are just to different to compare.

i was thinking of buying a nokia 6260 and i wanted to know how much is the length of a clip while recoring 10 secs or ten minutes???

It would appear that the only reason why I would buy a SEK700i is that it works with the Apple iSync software (in fact I believe all SE BT enabled phones do).

Thank you dkeppler, thats great news... I presume that you can send the movie clips in an e-mail? If so that would be really cool, as I tend to send funny photos to my girlfriends e-mail while she is at work.

So far I really like the Nokia 6260, I haven't owned a Nokia phone for about 8 years now when I had some real lemons from them. I have had SE phones for the past couple of years and I am ready to give Nokia a try again if this phone will work for me.

I am not trying to be negative towards either manufacture or product, just trying to get the right tool for the job.

Thank you once again

My last SE phone was a T68i and I had real problems geting that to talk to a PC, the 6260 is far better in that respect. You can attach sound and video to a e-mail or you can send a mms message, so that takes care of the girlfriend. Either phone will do what you want, the 6260 is a Smartphone however, and will be able to do much more than the SE in the long run.
