Great phone, few glitches...

Ok I got my X last week so I've had a bit of time to play around with it.

A few observations - Firstly its a great phone although I did hesitate about getting it. I have had one or 2 glitches though which I wonder if anyone can help/sympathise with:

The phone is very slow at opening applications, although I have just put in a 256mb mmc card and it seems to be moving along a bit quicker now.

I cant delete files that I have transferred to the phone from my PC. I sent myself a word document to check out the document viewer (very good by the way) and I cant get rid of it. (word file is stored in the phones memory). When I hit options in Doc Viewer (having the word document open) all I get is the option to 'find' not move or delete. I've also just moved a photo file from the phone to the MMC card and now cant move the damm thing back!

The camcorder is good, but has a very slow refresh rate - a problem that most people have encountered on this forum... Still - its not meant to be a propper camcorder for everday use is it! Its fine for naughty home movies though!!!!

The MP3 player is great - looking forward to downloading all my songs on to the memory card. Is it possible to rename the files though? again there doesnt seem to be an option to edit the name of the track/album?

Is there a personal and secure folder on the phone which I can store bank data on? Like Nokia's wallet function. I'd like all the information to access for my online accounts to be stored on the phone as this is invaluable when you go travelling.

Is there a simple one touch way of writing a text. I just want a shortcut key that I can press once and then start my message. Instead I have to go into messages, new, text etc :icon13: (maybe I'm missing something here).

Cant set up Vodafone email with it for some reason? Can anyone tell me what the difference between a standard WAP connection is and GPRS. Which is cheaper - some people quote by the min (voda 10p) and others are quoting (2.35p/mb). HELP - what is cheapest and what is best for accessing my Vodafone email account?

Apart from that the Sendo is cool and does a lot. I've now got 4 cows, 4 chickens and 2 extra fields on funny farmer - great fun for a Suffolk tractor boy!

Overall 8 out of 10. Its as stable and reliable as Windows 95 was when that came out!! If all the glitches are solved i'd give it 9.5, just because texting is difficult and I dont like the keys.

If you want a good phone with lots of features you wont be upset with the X. I'd definatlely reccommend and its a nice change from bog standard Nokia's which quite frankly dont change a lot - in the last 4 that I've had!

Ive not got my sendo x yet but i can help you on your email.

GPRS is the fastest connection on ur phone, and prob the cheapest. There are two options, standard dail in access which is charged per minute, and GPRS, that is always on, and charges by the kb. With my contract i get so many inclusive mb and i can use that for whatever i wish, eg email, web.
Hope this helps
